Our Paediatric Dental Practice was established in 1999 by Dr Eduardo Alcaino. Since then we have been joined by three other specialists. We are supported by a team comprising a Practice Manager, Clinical Assistants, Front Office Coordinators, as well as a team of paediatric anaesthetists. In 2004, a second surgery was opened in Bondi Junction, where Dr Eduardo Alcaino has teamed up with A/Prof. Richard Widmer.
We offer a comprehensive range of services to children and their families. Although our main role involves dental care, our interest is child welfare. As such, we are able to organise referrals to medical and allied health specialists to address the needs that children face early in life.
Childhood has been identified as the most important period in a person's 'dental life'. We have found that even when children have been to the dentist before, they often do not know what to expect when they come to see us. On the first visit we aim to provide children and parents with information about their dental issues and assess their individual needs.

We have many years experience of dedicated child dental care, both in specialist practice and in education. Furthermore, we are actively involved in teaching, lecturing and every year we travel overseas to be able to offer the most up to date knowledge in our field.

We have finally moved our Burwood Practice. The practice has been relocated only 5 buildings up the road, to 21 Burwood Road (same side of the road). We are proud to present this bigger and better practice to all our patients and look forward to seeing you at our exciting new practice.
